Josh Monroe is an entrepreneur, recruiting executive and business builder who has spent much of his career at the intersection of people, sales and growth.
His path to recruiting began much earlier than his first recruiting title. Early leadership roles at the Hartford City Parks Department and UPS taught him how to lead people in real operating environments. Sales roles followed, eventually leading Josh to start and operate his own mortgage company.
In 2009, Josh joined Robert Half and spent nearly nine years in increasingly senior leadership positions across Technology and Finance & Accounting recruiting. While leading the Technology Direct Hire division, his team earned top organizational recognition while establishing new production records.
Those experiences shaped his view of recruiting: the job description is only part of the story. Great recruiting requires understanding the business, the people and what success in the seat actually looks like.
Today, Josh is Founder of Recruit 619 and Founder of Tage Venture Capital, where he is building a portfolio of people-centered businesses.

He spent 22 years as Managing Partner at PrincetonOne Search/MRI Sales Consultants, later moved in-house as Director of Talent Attraction at DEFENDERS, where he led a team of ten responsible for more than 1,200 hires annually, and most recently helped build a staffing company from startup to more than $40 million in annual revenue.
Across those roles, Dennis has led executive search, talent acquisition, recruiting operations, technology, process design, recruiter development and client delivery.
Today, he leads Recruit 619's recruiting organization — developing its people, systems and operating discipline while remaining close to the work itself.
